Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father is Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother has Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to take the time to learn English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. At 16, she left school in order to pursue acting as a career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
