Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A star who strayed completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over everywhere. Swift left her heritage in country music as if she was a second skin and showed that she was the most refined pop sensibility of her generation. Swift was the only artist/singer who could follow the zeitgeist of popular music when she went on tour. It was apparent in her early songs, particularly in her neo pay homage of Tim McGraw. On her second release Fearless (2008) Swift revealed a singer/songwriter who was beginning to understand herself. Fearless was a huge success worldwide and not just in the United States (where it earned with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") however, in Canada, Australia, the U.K. as well as other nations. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier success, and catapulted Swift into the spotlight. The popularity of Swift only grew with her following three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017) which saw her move into a realm of pop music that she had already been a part of. Her name was always on top of the charts even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums folklore & Evermore in the year 2020.
