Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas, and was raised there. She was a television host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie who was afflicted by polio. Growing up, she had a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl claims that at one point, her mother knifed her father when he became too intimate with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her first TV career in 1992 being a regular performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television show Oh Drama! She is currently a guest co-host for the talk talk show from 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
