In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums, including three which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly fell short of the top spot. She was among America's top performers. In order to achieve success she experimented with different musical styles, and explored topics. The uniqueness of her voice and singing talent earned her praise from critics and a number of important award. She has been the most notable winner of three times the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has appeared in films as well as television programs. She also wrote the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in several charities.
