Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model was a former actor who has since retired. Elson was born in the United States and began in acting as a young actor/model and later as a professional actress, is best known for the role as Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea was picked to portray Lynn Tanner in the popular series ALF from 1986. Andrea was on the show for a number of years in various TV series and Movies of the week before she decided to leave the entertainment industry. As ALF's popularity grew with youngsters, NBC informed Fusco that it was not allowed to drink alcohol since the kids were watching. It was a bad example. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF was an adult and could manage the drink. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was successfully cured and continued to be in remission up to the end of 2019. At the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey on Friday 26th June 2019, he passed away of this illness at the age of 75.
