Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, playwright as well as a teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother, is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. As a young child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto so that her acting skills could develop. Later, the actress relocated Los Angeles. Anna met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009.
